From a New Year’s Eve on Öland
It started with a family and their noise-frightened dog. When the rockets went off on New Year's Eve, they took refuge in their cottage on the island of Öland. Tedd Holmström in Motala heard the story and asked himself: if you have a dog that is afraid of loud noises, where should it be when they happen?
The answer was a room within a room. A portable den with sound-absorbing panels, where the animal can choose to go in and rest. It took two months to go from the first sketch to a finished prototype.
Today, PawBox is still designed and developed in Motala, and every order is shipped from our own warehouse in Sweden.

With its sound-dampening design and portable format, PawBox serves as a modern dog house: durable, practical, and comfortable. It is easy to take with you and quickly becomes a favorite place for rest and recovery, both at home and on the go.
A safe place during fireworks and thunderstorms
Hundreds of thousands of Swedish dogs suffer from noise anxiety, for example during fireworks or thunderstorms. PawBox is designed to address that anxiety and create a safe place when it is needed most. It is not completely soundproof, but rather serves as a voluntary and cozy den where the dog or cat can go in, rest, and leave whenever they want.
